I’m getting a Black Keys-ish vibe from the latest Black Pistol Fire single, “Level.” Not in the early Black Keys style but more in the latter period where things kind of went wonky and were more slick sounding and produced. Maybe it’s me, but this tune sounds kind of generic and ultimately, very bland and anemic. You be the judge, there’s no litmus test for taste.
