Wooden Shjips have released their video for “Already Gone” which features the band enjoying the sunshine in Portland, Oregon. Revel at Ripley Johnson riding a bike, amaze at the band playing hackey sack and watch the band meet up with label mate Plankton Wat. Thrilling stuff to be sure.

Wooden Shjips will be playing songs from V. on the road for the next several weeks, with their North American tour starting tomorrow in Portland, OR. After witnessing a recent set at the Levitation Festival in Austin, the Austin Chronicle wrote the band, “drew as much inspiration from Northern California ancestors Quicksilver Messenger Service as it did from mantra masters like Guru Guru, lowering heart rates with more boogie than blast. Johnson’s lead guitar favors plangent tones and melodic phrases, which may have been just what the wired audience needed.” North American dates below, a full list is here.
