SPELLING is the nom de guerre of Berkeley, California baded Tia Cabral who recently released the album Pantheon of Me In September 2017. Her recently released track “Hard To Please” is an abbreviated squelchy, electronic ballad filled with a throbbing rhythm section and punctuated by video featuring an almost indecipherable font. The short song feels more like an interlude and kind of half-baked but the most memorable thing about the entire affair was the purple font. Really, it was kind of irritating. I digress.
