adidas Originals returned to Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival as one of this year’s official partners. Flexing on a new era of originality, Sean Wotherspoon brought his unique vision to adidas vintage wear, while BROCKHAMPTON and Amber Mark delivered standout performances wardrobed in adidas Originals.
The brand’s iconic Three Stripes track jacket swept across the hallowed polo field, serving as Coachella’s symbol of limitless originality and creative expression for talent, attendees, and adidas Originals creative partners including NCAA Volleyball finalist & content creator Marissa Hill, renowned sports media personality Denise Jones, and transgender sustainability activist Corey Rae.
Acclaimed upcycler and sustainable designer Sean Wotherspoon created 100 custom vintage pieces specially curated from the adidas archives. Sean along with Kerwin Frost personally gifted these one-of-a-kind pieces to adiClub icon members at the festival. And for the cold desert nights, the brand also surprised 1,000 adiClub members with a commemorative Coachella-themed track jacket.
Taking the Three Stripe energy from the grounds to the stage, Grammy-nominated pop-R&B star Amber Mark was adorned in a red pair of adidas Originals’ Campus 80s as she enchanted fans with her soulful soundscapes.
Fans of BROCKHAMPTON bid the group farewell during their swansong performance with the group donning custom varsity jackets adorned with BROCKHAMPTON patches, the adidas’ Trefoil, and an embroidered quote on the jacket’s back that read, “all good things must come to an end.”
