For the first time in its history, MJBizCon—the world’s largest cannabis industry conference—will officially host programming dedicated to the LGBTQIA+ community. This milestone moment comes courtesy of three trailblazing organizations: Queer in Cannabis, Tokeativity, and The Cannabis Trail, each known for championing equity, culture, and representation in the cannabis space.

As the cannabis industry continues to evolve, conversations about identity, community, and social equity are becoming impossible to ignore. Now, queer leaders are taking center stage at the industry’s biggest annual gathering.

Two Landmark Events Debut December 3 & 4

🌈 December 3 — LGBTQIA+ Networking at MJBizCon

This new networking experience brings together queer founders, operators, executives, innovators, creatives—and the allies who support them.
The goal: visibility, representation, and connection in a sector where LGBTQIA+ professionals have long been underrecognized.

Expect a community-first environment designed to foster collaboration, amplify queer voices, and build pipelines for future leaders in cannabis.

🌈 December 4 — Rainbow Royale at NuWu

The celebration continues at NuWu, a woman-owned and Native American–owned cannabis lounge known for its vibrant atmosphere and cultural significance.
Rainbow Royale blends consumption, celebration, and community-building in a way MJBizCon has never hosted before.

This event honors the roots of cannabis culture while uplifting the diverse identities that have helped shape the plant’s legacy—from Queer liberation movements to grassroots activism.

Why This Moment Matters

These events arrive at a pivotal time. As cannabis continues to transition from counterculture to regulated mainstream industry, the push for equity and inclusion is louder than ever.

Queer leaders have long been part of the cannabis movement—organizing, educating, caregiving, and advocating. The addition of official LGBTQIA+ programming at MJBizCon signals more than visibility; it signals recognition, respect, and a step toward a more inclusive future for the global cannabis industry.

This year, MJBizCon is making space—real space—for queer voices to lead, connect, and celebrate.

And it’s about damn time.
