Pavement fans of the mid-Atlantic region, do not fret: The band have finally added a northeast gig to their summer 2026 US tour itinerary.

On July 24th, Pavement will return to Philadelphia’s Dell Music Center to headline the first night of the Make the World Better concert weekend – a long-running benefit series put on by R5 Productions that raises funds for MTBW’s work revitalizing public spaces in the Philadelphia area.

Pavement will be joined by Chicago’s Ratboys. The second night will feature hometown heroes and distinguished Matador alumni Kurt Vile and the Violators alongside ascendant local talent They are Gutting a Body of Water and Twisted Teens. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 3rd at 10:00 am ET.

Pavement will perform a handful of shows in the US this summer, including a set at Oakland’s Mosswood Meltdown and headline stops in Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, and more. Find a complete routing below.

Pavement are Mark Ibold, Scott “Spiral Stairs” Kannberg, Stephen Malkmus, Bob Nastanovich and Steve West. Among the most beloved acts to come out of the American underground in the 1990’s, the band released five era-defining albums – Slanted And Enchanted (1992), Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain (1994), Wowee Zowee (1995), Brighten The Corners (1997) and Terror Twilight (1999) – before disbanding in 1999. Pavement’s 2022 reunion saw them headline Primavera Sound and perform sold-out multi-night runs in Los Angeles, New York, and London.
