New Alternatives is dedicated to reducing homelessness amongst LGBTQ+ youth in NYC by addressing areas critical to their wellbeing including housing, employment, education,
and physical and mental health.

While many brands view Pride Month as a marketing opportunity, Stone Road prioritizes diversity and representation as part of the brand’s DNA 365 days a year. Stone Road is a queer-run brand, and celebrates it with its diverse, inclusive, and provocative brand imagery that resonates especially with women and the LGBTQ+ communitiespaving the way for a more inclusive cannabis industry. Stone Road emphasizes diversity in every aspect of the business, ensuring a diverse cast and crew and partnering with queer and BIPOC artists to create the brand’s unique image. Stone Road has partnered with creatives such as Billie Black, a queer LA-based photographer; Anderson Martinez, a Hispanic, queer NY-based photographer; Kate Sweeney a queer Ohio-based photographer, Ruth de la Cruz aka Ruth Fruit, a Mexican-American LA-based photographer and Amanda Picotte, a queer NY-based photographer, to name a few.

Stone Road was founded by Lex Corwin in 2016 at the age of 23 as a queer-led, family run cannabis brand committed to harvesting and creating accessible, affordable cannabis products for variety of smokers. Not only is Stone Road reimagining what affordable cannabis can look like with their design-forward packaging, but they’re blazing a path for a new age of cannabis consumers with their eye-catching, colorful and inclusive campaign imagery. When he’s not hand-rolling joints in LA, Lex is tending to Stone Road’s 57 acre, off-grid family farm in Nevada City, CA, ensuring each joint is potent and pure.
