Spoon return today with their new single, “No Bullets Spent” which is taken from their upcoming greatest hits anthology – Everything Hits At Once: The Best of Spoon which is out July 26th on Matador Records. “No Bullets Spent” caught me unaware with the affected and spare intro which seemingly mentions the master. I was hoping for a song about Manos but it wasn’t meant to be. Familiar staccato riffing and jagged guitar bits soon dominate the track and my toe started to tap as the song joins the classic Spoon pantheon. You too, dear reader, can listen to the song below.
