Ty Segall and the Freedom Band have shared an alternate take of lead off track, “Fanny Dog (Royal)” today and it was recorded with Boo Mitchell in Memphis at Royal Studios. The pace on this dog is a little slower and meandering and the horns are more pronounced which gives it a bit more of a Southern flavor. Personally, I dig this breed of dog and wouldn’t be ashamed to give it more than table scraps. Aside from my bad dog analogies, Ty Segall & Freedom Band are out on tour so check them out if you have the time.
