Listen To R.E.M’s “Fascinating” Bahama Recovery Track

R.E.M’s track “Fascinating” was recorded in Nassau  in 2004 and is being released to benefit global organization Mercy Corps’ Hurricane Dorian relief and recovery efforts in the Bahamas.  While that’s a noble effort, “Fascinating” is a mawkish mess.  Electronics and overproduction swirl in this dated track that feels like a warmed up leftover from “Reveal.”  Bleah.  Check it out if you really feel the need.
